La Valette has two main bedrooms sleeping five; a double and a single bed in one room and a double in the other. A cot is also available. As well as the bathroom there is a separate w.c. plus sitting room, large dining room and kitchen.

There is a wood-burning stove, a fridge-freezer, gas cooker, washing machine. Oil-fired central heating is available in winter. Bed-linen and towels are available if you wish, with an additional charge for laundering. 

An adjacent studio provides two further simple bedrooms, linked by an open staircase. Upstairs is a single bed/sitter with en suite shower and w.c. Downstairs is a double bed. The studio has no kitchen and therefore cannot be hired on its own.

There is a large terraced garden with a lawn and a lot of space for walking or for children to play well away from roads. Our grandchildren love it!

We ask our guests please not to smoke inside the house or studio.

We do not let La Valette as a commercial profit-making gite with on-site staff. Guests have the advantages of a comfortable family home, a modest rent (which simply helps towards our annual costs) and a superb location. It is not fully serviced and we do ask our guests to do a few things during their stay such as taking rubbish to the local bins and at the end of their stay to remove used laundry from the beds and securely lock the premises.
